How a shared passion for meaningful travel inspired the creation of a boutique African safari brand built around connection, immersion, and soulful journeys.
A more personal beginning
After decades of combined experience travelling across Africa and designing tailor-made journeys, Tasha and Stuart wanted to create something more personal. A company built not around transactional tourism, but around thoughtful travel, authentic experiences, and the spirit of adventure that first inspired their love for Africa.
A philosophy shaped by experience
For Tasha, travel has always been deeply personal. After almost three decades within the travel industry — including years specialising in bespoke luxury safaris across East and Southern Africa — her focus has always been on creating journeys that feel immersive, seamless, and thoughtfully curated around each guest.
Family lies at the heart of her philosophy, and she believes travel creates some of life’s most meaningful shared memories. This belief continues to shape every Moya Wild journey today.
For Stuart, years of travelling across Africa and beyond sparked a lifelong passion for wildlife, photography, and exploration. Experiences throughout the Maasai Mara, Okavango Delta, Namibia, Victoria Falls, and many other extraordinary regions helped shape a philosophy of travel rooted in immersion, connection, and discovery.
The spirit that guides Moya Wild
Together, these shared experiences ultimately led to the creation of Moya Wild.
“Moya” means spirit — and that spirit guides everything the company stands for: travel that feels thoughtful, soulful, immersive, and deeply connected to place.
From iconic safari landscapes and remote wilderness regions to intimate coastal escapes and hidden corners of Africa, every Moya Wild journey is carefully designed around the individual traveller — their pace, interests, and sense of adventure.
At its core, Moya Wild exists to create experiences that go beyond traditional travel. Journeys shaped with intention. Experiences inspired by the wild. And memories that continue to live long after the journey itself has ended.
Tailor-made African journeys inspired by the spirit of the wild.
